27How to set your Goals in 2012
Posted By: Ben Mookamedi Semommung on January 27, 2012 at 11:45 amHow best do you set your goals?
How do you take action on them?
2012 has started and as usual many people are bogged down with the New Year’s resolutions, (setting goals for the year) which in most case never materials in the long run. How do you ensure that come up with concrete resolutions and stick to your resolutions until you achieve them all?
Here’s how I have been doing it over the past several years. First and foremost, I have identified my own 6 key personal values which are:
1. Family
2. Finances/money
3. Security
4. Health
5. Spirituality
6. Personal growth
When setting goals it is very important to remember that your goals must be consistent with your values. As such, I always set my goals around my personal values because my core values are the heart beat of my life and this leads to happiness.
Setting goals around your personal values ensures a more balanced life as you begin to examine and change the fundamentals of everyday living. Setting goals in compliance with your values also helps in eliminating the non-integrated thinking or contradictions between goals. On that basis, a goal should not contradict any of your other goals.
Make sure that the goal you set is something you really want, not just something that sounds good to you. Moreover, write your goal in the positive instead of the negative. For instance, work for what you want, not for what you want to leave behind. Part of the reason why we write down and examine our goals is to create a set of instructions for our subconscious mind to carry out. The subconscious mind is a very efficient tool, it cannot determine right from wrong and it does not judge. Its key function is to carry out its instructions. The more positive instructions you give it, the more positive results you will achieve. Thinking positively in everyday life will also help in your growth as a human being.
Write your goal out in complete detail in the present tense. By so doing you are giving the subconscious mind a detailed set of instructions to work on. The more information you give it, the more clearer the final outcome becomes. The more precise the outcome, the more efficient the subconscious mind can become. The other most important step is to write down your goals.
Physically writing down your goals creates the roadmap to your success because just the act of writing them down can set the process in motion. Furthermore, it is extremely important to review your goals frequently.
Note that, the more focused you are on your goals the more likely you are to accomplish them. Reviewing your goals daily is a significant part of your success. Each morning when you wake up read your list of goals that are written in the positive. Visualize the completed goal, see the new home, smell the leather seats in your dream car, feel the cold hard cash in your hands etc. Then each night, right before you go to bed, revisit your goals and visualize them achieved. This process will stimulate both your subconscious and conscious mind on working towards achieving your goal.

On continuous basis, during the day, “Is this taking me closer to achieving goal or further away from my goal?” If your answer is “closer to,” then you have made the right decision. If the answer is “further away from,” then change your thought patterns.
Follow this process everyday and you will be on your way to achieving unprecedented success in every aspect of your life.

23Re-engineering Multi-level Marketing and Network Marketing in 2011
Posted By: Ben Mookamedi Semommung on August 23, 2011 at 1:11 pmLast weekend I attended a Business Building Seminar where speakers after speakers stood up and lectured the audience on how to make instant money using the power of duplication through multi-level marketing (MLM). All the stuff that they were preaching was not new to me but to meany it was a discovery…
First things first…
What is Multi-level marketing aka MLM?
Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they recruit, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation. Other terms for MLM include network marketing, pyramid selling, and referral marketing.
In most insatnces, the salespeople are expected to sell products directly to consumers by means of relationship referrals and word of mouth marketing. Some people equate MLM with direct selling, although MLM is only one type of direct selling.
In contrast to MLM is single-level marketing. In single-level marketing, the salesperson is rewarded for selling the product directly to the consumer.
Network Marketing” and “Multi-level Marketing” are generally considered to be synonyms, and a subset of direct selling. While “direct selling” and “network marketing” refer primarily to the distribution system, the term “multi-level marketing” emphasizes the compensation plan more. Other terms that are sometimes used to describe multi-level marketing include “word-of-mouth marketing”, “interactive distribution”, and “relationship marketing”. Click and discover the benefits of multilevel marketing online
Critics have argued that the use of different terms and “buzzwords” is an effort to distinguish multi-level marketing from illegal Ponzi schemes, chain letters, and consumer fraud scams. Some sources classify multi-level marketing as a form of direct selling rather than being direct selling.

21Affiliate Marketing: Your Road to Success Online
Posted By: Ben Mookamedi Semommung on April 21, 2011 at 1:30 pmStarting to make money online with affiliate marketing is relatively quick and easy. All that one has to do is to sign up as an affiliate for an online company that offers affiliate programs. An alternative method, and usually an easier one, is to sign up as a member of an affiliate network—a network that hosts a variety of affiliate programs for different online merchants or retailers.
Signing up is usually free, although other companies and networks may require you to pay a particular fee. Such fees, however, are made as payment for additional services that the company may render, like providing you with tools and assistance to jumpstart your online business.
When you sign up with an affiliate marketing program, you are usually required to fill out a form containing information about yourself. Some affiliate programs may also require you to present the URL of your website and describe its contents. This will allow the retailers to verify that you actually have a website with contents that are relevant to their products. Some affiliate programs, however, won’t require you to have a website. After filling out the form and all, you are then allowed to choose the affiliate programs you want to promote.
After signing up with an affiliate program and being an actual affiliate, you are now ready to start making a lot of money by selling other people’s product online. How do you make money? There are actually a number of ways for you to earn money as an affiliate, and most of these ways depends on the type of affiliate marketing program you’ve gotten into.

20Discover The Shocking Truth On Affiliate Marketing Programs That Many Affiliate marketers Don’t Want You To Know!
Posted By: Ben Mookamedi Semommung on April 20, 2011 at 5:03 amHere’s how affiliate marketing programs compensate their affiliates …
Most of the programs compensate affiliates either through pay-per-click (PPC), pay-per-sale (PPS), or pay-per-lead (PPL). In pay-per-click affiliate marketing, the affiliate is paid whenever he directs traffic to the merchant’s website.
Nonetheless, PPS and PPL affiliate marketing programs work differently. For instance, in PPS, the affiliate only gets paid when his referral converts into an actual sale. In typical PPS affiliate programs, the affiliate would usually get 15% to 20% commission for each conversion. PPL affiliate programs work the same way, although affiliates are paid a fixed fee whenever his referral converts into a lead for the company.
Some affiliate marketing programs are two-tier programs, wherein the affiliate is allowed to recommend other affiliates to the merchant. In such affiliate programs, the affiliate would not only be paid for the traffic or sales that he would direct to the merchant’s site but also for the traffic or sales directed by the affiliates who signed up with the program through his recommendation.

13How To Use The Power of Execution To Strengthen Your Business Opportunities
Posted By: Ben Mookamedi Semommung on April 13, 2011 at 7:38 amHere’s how to use the power of execution to take your business to another level and embracing the advice to always go an extra mile in whatever you do.
A lot of entrepreneurs are really good at talking about ideas, projects and business opportunities. More often than not, when the time comes for them to execute, they fail dismally to achieve anything. This unwillingness to commit, to invest the extra hours and to physically sweat on a project is what’s holding most of the businesses back.
When you are willing to do things that your competitors are not doing, that’s what unlocks opportunities in the business arena. The real secret is that there’s no big secret. When you make a promise, you should keep it. This can only be achieved when you execute in your business.
There are a lot of opportunities for people who are willing to work with their hands. Nonetheless, the real truth is that if you can learn how to get your hands dirty and make something, you’ll have the expertise that will always be in demand. You should know how to execute.
Taking care of your staff could change your business and make you ahead of other people in the business arena. In dry spells, you’ve got to remember that your people are your biggest asset. At Richville our people definitely get paid before we ever do, and it’s always been way. A lot of entrepreneurs think that loyalty is something that their employees instantly owe them. On the contrary, the real truth is that staff loyalty works both ways. Loyalty has to be earned by management, and that takes time.
It is also important to give employees a skill and a career they can be proud of because if there’s a lack of pride in the finished goods leaving the factory, then this has an impact on every aspect of the business. When an entrepreneur complains about staff not giving 100%, it’s because the owner hasn’t worked hard to instil that daily focus and pride.
This way of thinking has yielded standout results for Richville. We want the average employee to stay in our business for at least 11 years. There is compelling evidence of our business’ dedication to staff. At Richville we are a family with a strong foundation.

12Make Money With Network Marketing Part-Time: Know When to Quit Your Day Job
Posted By: Ben Mookamedi Semommung on April 12, 2011 at 7:33 amYou can make money easy with network marketing part-time and quit your day job faster than you imagined. Click here for more on network marketing
Are you sick and tired of being broke and always struggling with money? Start network marketing as a part-timer and assess your earnings per month.
Make money with network marketing part-time and know when to quit your day job. Is it as easy as that? Read on to learn more…
Do you have a strong “why” for quitting your 9-5 job? Your why is very important in propelling you to do anything you ever wanted to do in life.
I still remember what Jim Rohn used to say that he started part-time and when he started earning twice his wages. He made a target to earn three times his wages and then decided to quit his day job when he knew he was making enough money.
Quitting your day job has serious implications. In most cases giving up can make you feel guilty, upset and exhausted. Most people are programmed, from a young age to stick with a project regardless of the cost even if it is taxing emotionally, physically or financially.
Several authors such as Napoleon Hill are known for saying things like, ‘A quitter never wins and a winner never quits.’ There are a million quotes about the need for perseverance.
Quitting puts loads of societal pressure on you to keep going even when everything inside you is telling you to stop and move on. This can be a life and death situation. Do you find yourself saying any of these words often? If all you can think about is knocking off at 5pm, your Christmas vacation, the day you retire and walk out of this place. This is a big, flashing warning light.
In most cases, every occupation has inevitably elements of job related stress, repetition and boredom. Nevertheless, if you’re doing something which is in harmony with your life goals, you’ll find it worthwhile and interesting.
It may be clear you won’t get that promotion you hoped for. Perhaps you have no new responsibilities. Or you’re not keeping up financially. Worse still, maybe your job doesn’t give you any skills that you can apply somewhere else. Many jobs are stimulating, challenging and rewarding-but only for the first few months. After that, then what happens next?
The reality is that maybe that you’ve just started a family, or your children have left home. Or maybe you’re looking after your parents. Or maybe you are as free as a bird. Think about your life today. What has changed? Don’t be a self-appointed guardian of the status quo. If the time has come to quit, then quit. It takes bravery and maturity to stand up and leave something behind that was holding you back. So, what are you going to do next? The best thing is to quit and grab the bull by the horns. Network marketers do what they want when they want.
My final words are that you need to start network marketing and enjoy the freedom to travel the world and live a lifestyle that you have always dreamed of. Click here to start your network marketing business now.

08Discover Our Secret Weapon for Success at Richville Luxury Restaurant
Posted By: Ben Mookamedi Semommung on April 8, 2011 at 7:28 amOur mission is “To provide delicious quality food to every customer with an efficient and superior service, on time, all the time.” Our Vision is “To be a leading restaurant, both locally and regionally, in providing first class dining experience in an atmosphere of tranquility and fun.” Most importantly, we, the women and men of Richville are guided by the following values:
1. Quality service
2. Customer service
3. Botho (respect)
4. Integrity
5. Team work

At Richville the cornerstone of our business is service. Giving the customer a level of attention that he cannot find anywhere else is at the heart of everything we do. Our philosophy on customer care is completely straight forward: just put yourself in his shoes.
Firstly and foremost, the client wants honesty. Ask yourself, how he wants to be served. This means being frank and genuine in the answers we give to all his questions. There’s no bragging about anything here.
Secondly, the customer wants to know that he has come to the right place. In everything we do, no matter how big or small, we deliver on our promise with the level of quality service that gets people talking about us over and over again. It is this word of mouth that has made us who we are-the best place to be in town.
Third, the customer wants speed. Our philosophy is to “serve our customers with respect on time, all the time.” Over the years, we have acquired a reputation for being the team which works late, stays open on weekends and doesn’t go on holidays. We bend over backwards for our clients on deadlines. This leads to customer satisfaction.

Last but not least in Botswana, unlike in the developed world such as the UK or USA, we have a small market. As such, you can’t afford to disappoint anyone. If you do that you end up being a victim of your own demise. When we started our business at Richville we didn’t have high-end machines, a big budget for marketing or a price war on our minds. Nevertheless, what we did have was a service ethic, that of “serving our customers with botho on time, all the time. “ That’s how word spread about us in town. This is our secret weapon for success at Richville!.
